Thanks Paul, I've tried that as well! My head is spinning as I've looked up so many names now. Ever wish you hadn't started something?

Check mis-spelled names, particularly Bennett or Barrett which when handwritten can easily be mistaken. Also Bonet, Bonner, Bonney, Bonnell, Bomett, ... you know the drill.

I have an ancestor called William Peck Bonnett. I will give you access to my tree and we will see if there's a match. It's not the same William because mine was born c1796 but there could be a family connection. I will PM you now.

I've checked the full indexes and nothing ( went from 1890 to 1906)

Well if its not on freebmd - and you can bear to trawl all of the index - this could be a job for super rellies. You could pay to view on familyrelatives.org and in one fell swoop cover every marriage in the period 1866-1920 with her name - well you wouldnt need all that period, so just cut it down to what is feasible and then look through them.

my gg grandfather was William Bonnett, born 1848, Norfolk. He married 3 times (at least) his 3rd wife was Eliza Page, born 1867, Lewes, Sussex. She died 3rd June 1906, Muggleswick, Durham, age 38. William's 2nd wife was my gg grandmother and I don't think that he divorced her (this is getting complicated, sorry folks!) Info I have for Eliza: 1901 census states Eliza Bonnett, 2 children's birth cert's state Bonnett. Death cert also states Bonnett, and William as widower of the deceased. Can anyone find a marriage? I've checked England and Scotland with no joy. HELP!!!!
