Please could you let me know what website you are using. I have recently (or rather, the good people on this site have recently) found a birth for someone in Malta whilst her father was in the Royal Artillery. I would like to get her certificate but didn't know where to get it from. Thanks in advance. |

Yes!! I have sucessfully ordered a marriage and birth cert. Be aware civil reg in Malta only started in 1863. They only search 2 years either side on the year that you give and Maltese certs are fantastic with loads of info including a generation back and birth places. I ordered with the following info. Sarah Needham 1880 Mother Sarah X? Father James Needham. Her mother was Serafina Scicluna sometimes spelt Xicluna. She used Sarah when she got to England. |

Hi, Has anyone had ordered a birth certificate from Malta from the UK. I have the website for the Maltese Government, birth certificate request pages. The only information I have is the name of the person, date of birth, fathers name. I do not know where in Malta he was born or his mothers name. Do I have enough information to make a request without it being rejected? Many thanks. Paul |
