hiya, if you had a prog such as FTM you can print out your own books, from it of individual families, or the whole lot Julie

Excellent idea - but as I say I want mine on paper. Safe in my hands. When it was lost I thought not only of the long hour's spent researching by myself and you good folk on here, also the money I spent on cert's and look up's etc. but the thought of losing all those valuable relatives gutted me. This is like a member of my family.

Keep your prime records on your computer at home. Use something like FTM, or PAF if you are on a budget and need a free program. Then back up onto cd from to time.

I am at this very moment typing my tree out into some sort of book form-desperate not to lose it again-will only be happy when it is in my hands.

Last Friday my tree and my membership vanished before my eye's-I have spent a week e-mailing Gene's to retrieve it and what a game. Please take a warning - copy your tree - print it out - put it on disc or something-but do not risk losing it.
