My great gran started life as Phoebe Page Pearson (no father on Birth Cert) She married Thomas William or William Thomas Wetherald (depending on which document you believe) in 1877. In the 1881 Census she has been transmogrified into Telica Wetherill. By 1891 she had become Phoebe Weatherall. I can understand the erratic spelling but where does Telica come from?

It probably comes from a deaf enumerator? Georgina.
