Just to confirm you are looking at the right people (they give you the mother's maiden name on Scottish certificates too) Once you have that information you could then locate them on the Scottish Census - again on Scotland's people. Member Since: October 2003 Posts: 164 Send Message	hia could anyone possibly help me im going spare trying to get started on my partners side of the family. i have archibald brown born 17th may 1920(.partners dad)living at clyde st glasgow i know his dad was a cool carrier and mother marjory mullin were married oct 1919 at blythswood glasgow how do i find out what year they were both born. avril
