If the business was a limited liablility company, the names of the directors will be recorded at Companies House. Reg |

Many Town/County websites have a bit of historical information about companies and businesses. Manchester City Council website is one, and I dare say there are many others. Historical Directories are unlikely to give you the names of the owners, unless it was a one man business. OC |

Hi has anyone any idea how to find information on businesses past. I have the name of the town I have an approx date I have the name of the company but for my reserch I need to know the name of the owners, as i'm new to this game I havent got a clue where to start looking.any help would be greatfuly recieved.
