Help! My mum was illigitamate - born to a Phyliss Hughes in 1916, in the aston area of Birmingham - mum was never told her dad's name but remembered her mum going some where to pick up money which he paid - I have seen parish illgitmacy orders for the 1800' but could I trace - who paid what to my grandmother phyliss? Any ideas Gaynor |
