Thanks for the replies. Will have a go and see if any of them work for me. I think it's about time GR did something about it, cos it's much easier to cut and paste info and have it to hand rather than having to try and find threads again on here - there are so many good ones that even if they are only in 'your messages only', it still takes forever to find the one you need. Thanks again. |

This works with MS Works and WordPerfect Copy Text Select 'Edit Paste Special' Select 'Unformatted Text' This will replace lines with dotted lines. Copy one of the dots (hyphens) Select 'Edit Replace' Paste the hyphen info 'Find' box Make sure nothing is inserted into 'Replace' box. (Or that it says 'Replace with Nothing') Click 'Replace All' Takes much longer to desscribe than do. David |

Try pasting to NotePad - that way you will just get the text and no links etc. |

Don't know if this applies to every version of Word, but for Word 2003 anyway: You can copy and then paste into a Word document. At the bottom right of the pasted section is a little icon that says 'paste options'. Click on that and then click on 'keep text only'. You'll still get the names and the lines between the different messages, but these are much easier and faster to delete than when the text is in boxes. |

Is there a way to cut and paste a whole thread from here without getting all the boxes aswell? It's such a blag cutting and pasting it and then doing it all again to get just the text. |
