There is someone on the Guild of One Name Studies site who is a registered researcher of a similar surname....... They live in Lincoln. It may be worth contacting them in case they have come across your family, while researching their names. Gwyn

You need to find Thomas' baptism which will be in the parish registers (unless he was non-conformist). These will be in the county records office. Alternatively, you could order microfilm of them at your nearest LDS family history centre. Or see if the local family history society has transcripts. But unless you know the parish, it could be a lengthy search. nell

Help please I have a Thomas Freebury born aprox 1812 Laneham/ Ragnall Nottingham How can I find info on his birth etc Some one did a look up for me for Laneham & Ragnall but nothing I live in Lincoln so only have access to Lincs Archive Centre When he married in 1841 at Willoughton Lincs his name spelt Frebre His fathers also called Thomas Frebre
