Thanks, Sandra. It sounds interesting. If you ever get a chance to go to the WW1 Battlefields in Northern France and Belgium do pay them a visit. It certainly was an eye-opener to me. |

Sandra You will enjoy your visit to Ypres (now Ieper), a delightful little town. Is your relative on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial? If so then ensure you do not miss the very moving ceremony held there every evening. Denis. |

This is another interesting WWI site (also Canadian only): http://www.mapleleaflegacy.org/ The Maple Leaf Legacy Project aims to photograph every Canadian War Grave of the 20th century and make these photographs freely available on its website. |
