Thanks, Colwood Tom - I didn't even notice that the ebay Seller had made a mistake on their title. I've now amended my message above to read 1858 instead of the 1841 that was quoted on ebay. |

Have you looked to see if there are any on GR which might match? I've had a quick look and can't see any direct matches - though there do seem to be some Middx Herrings from about that time. Chrisitne |

Have just been browsing ebay and noticed that someone is selling some certificates (LOL - gosh, you never know what you will find on there!!) - a marriage cert of a GEORGE HERRING to an ELIZABETH JARVIS CONNOR, St Lukes Middx 1843 - and the birth cert of their daughter, FANNY HERRING born 1858, Old Street, Finsbury. If anyone is interested, just type these names into the search bar and it will bring them up. Wish I had them in my tree! |
