It all depends on the size of your monitor and the screen resolution. I have a 15 inch monitor and screen res. of 1024 x 768. If I don't have my favourites open, then the width of the board usually fits into my screen without the < > arrows |

What have you been fiddling with? If you go to start, control panel and display I think you can change it there. |

Did you sort it Val? Things like that happen to me and I have no idea why. I lost the address panel thingy for a couple of days until someone of general told me to press F something and it all came back. BTW, he WAS a white collar criminal. |

Just to add to what Jim has said. Have the window with jim's instruction open but make it so you can see your desktop. Before you start Jim's instructions, make sure that you are looking at your desktop, then do right click etc. Jools |

OK, try this. While you're online looking at this board. Up in the top right corner of the window are three grey squares with symbols in. The right most has an X in it. Click the one immediately to the left of it. See if that solves the problem. If not, click it again and you'll go back to where you were. |

Valerie - You can also change the text size in your browser window without changing the resolution of your monitor (which is what Jim was suggesting). In the Menu bar (where it says File, Edit, Help, etc...) there should be a heading called View. Click on this and when the drop down menu appears, move your cursor onto Text Size. See if a smaller text reduces or eliminates your page width problem. Tim |

I give up thanks for all your tips, I know about the 3 options on the top right hand corner its none of those ,and I tried changing the text size which made the writing too small and the screen the same size. I must have pressed something by mistake even if I centre the blue line Margaret I still cannot see from one side to the other on the page without scrolling left to right. I will have to have a little think. Hope you sorted out your problem on the printer . |

Val, I just had a go. If you point your cursor at the blue bit then click on the RIGHT button on your mouse a list will come up including properties then just follow the rest of Jims instructions. Left Click on properties and then settings and so on. Good luck. Im off to bed now. |
