Thanks all again, went onto ntl home and checked connection and it said FAULT 539 Went on to download broadband medic, and taken all this time to sort things out, there reply;; Fault associated with outlook ex, usually means connection to server is blocked by firewall or antivirus;; Run a spysweeper to be on safe side then disable security software to see if running ok if so re install;;; Now I know I m old but can anyone make any sense of this for me;;; Babs

Babs, Try emptying your temp internet files rather than cookies - it causes less upset! In Internet Explorer: TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/GENERAL TAB/DELETE FILES Cheers, Horatia

If the pop-up problem is just on this site then try going on the d o t c o m version of this site instead of the d o t c o d o t u k one. Kate.

Have you cleared all your cookies recently - that can slow your PC down if you don't do it regularly. As for your mouse being draggy - have you cleaned the ball recently? They soon get clogged up and then they stop rolling as well. Can't help about pop ups, sorry.

Can anyone please help me , I am having trouble getting pages opening on the site and also feels draggy with mouse not behaving ;;.....I have also got pop up coming at me with google/ ntl netguard, used to stop;;........Have done AGV last week and also spyblaster as advised by Judy ;;;;........but is still seem Aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh.......doing my head in;;........babs
