could someone be kind enough to check the 1851 and 1861 census for me. 1851 H0107/1565 F53 P45 and 1861 RG9/331 F134 P38. They look like the same family until you look at the images, Mother has morphed into Mary Ann!! Help Please xx

Without a name we can't begin to help. It would be easier to search if you copied and pasted the names etc, rather than quoting ref numbers Reg

Is it the Perkins family? I think Mary Ann is the wife of a younger George in 1861 not the daughter of George and Elizabeth. family 1) George the shoemaker/cordwainer with wife Elizabeth and Mary family 2) George a bookmaker? could be bootmaker?, wife Mary Ann and daughter Mary Ann Heather

Hi Heather, yes it is the perkins family, I am so confused....According to Ancestry it is George Perkins born in 1813 in weybridge and then Elizabeth Perkins born in 1816/17 in Southwark and Mary Perkins born in Southwark. Then when you look at the images the wife on one of the census' is not called Elizabeth as they state but Mary Ann!

There are two George Perkins families on the same page. One George was born in Southwark and the other born Weymouth married to Elizabeth . He's below other George on the page. Heather
