Quickest & Cheapest way to get Birth cert?

Hi If anyone could pls point me in the direction of where I can go to obtain a birth certificate at best price? I'm looking for one from 1910.

Best price is £7 from the GRO (but you must have the GRO ref). Normally they take about 5 days, but current wait is more like 2 weeks +. You could try the local register office (£7 plus postage), but some don't do certs for family history. They would probably be quicker, if they will help you. Where did the birth take place? Merry

Hi, It's Frank Holland, he was born 6 Sept. 1910 in Birmingham. He was registered in Oct-Nov-Dec 1910 Vol. 6 D Pg 86
