Anyway, if I were you, Moe, I would go through the Foy deaths and note down all the Patricks and Anns, then there is no danger of missing one by mistake. Kate.

Oh well, looks as if her 'official' name was just Ann: Lancashire Marriage indexes for the years: 1877 Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference FOY Patrick SALTER Ann Liverpool, Register Office or Registrar Attended Liverpool REG_LP/160/89 Kate.

Moe, although she is called Ann or Annie on the census, Ann could be her middle name, or she could be an Anna. One of my rellies was Sarah Ann on the BMD certificates but Annie on the censuses. What is your Ann / Annie's name on her marriage registration? Kate.

I am really glad of your imput as i am looking for 3 Patrick Foys at present and made the mistake in the beginning of just writing the name in my notes(when i thought i had one patrick)so i get halfway through the BMDs and realise i am on the wrong one and give up..Moe
