I have a christian name on my 1861 census it says Caboe it is a male name. I checked the image and it certainly looks like it is Caboe. I just googled it as I have never heard of it before and it is in the top ten of most popular dogs names LOL Has anyone ever heard of it. I hasten to add I searched the 1871 census and no one showed up with that name wonder why? He probably changed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gwen

I think the final letter is an s not an e. Not sure about C at the beginning, either, especially if you compare it with C in Catherine further down.

not sure it is an S if you look at the S in Thomas it is not the same but think the end letter is an E as it the same as in alice and Anne further down. It cannot be right other wise I would have found it on the next cenus Gwen
