Does anyone know of any good sites which will find one person in a marriage, and also the spouse? I have tried Free BMD and a lot of the time it only brings up one name, while I would prefer both. Ancestry only brings up the page on which the name I have searched for (the registration page). I would be greatful for any help, and let me know if you think I am using the search pages right, because, as a 16-year-old, I'm probably not! Thanks, Leanne

freebmd usually transcribes all the names on any given page.................when you find the person's details, click on the page number at the bottom where it says 'click to see others on page' Ancestry full records are the same as 1837, except they are free. When you get to the list of results, you have to click on the little magnifying glass at the far right end of the line, where it says 'view image' Before 1911, you will only get the one name........after 1911, the surname of the spouse is listed, so you can cross-refer. Does this help? Reg

hiya, when using freebmd, if you get name of person youre interested in you then get a number and district, double click on number, it will bring up a list of posssibles who were married at same time, failing that try ancestrys complete bmd index, but you need to click on others on page number, and also you can see teh actual images of entry HTH Julie
