Trying to prove a death March / April 20

Hiya, I wonder if you folks could help me. I have been told that somebody died in or about March / April of this year . I need to know whether there is an truth in the statement. I suspect not. How would I go about finding out please. Eternally grateful |

You would need to check the death register - but an event as recent as that wouldn't be on the index yet. You could try looking for death notices or contacting someone who knew her. nell |

Yes Reg i agree, somebody may know this possibly recently deceased person and be upset/shocked to see the details on a public board, or worse still they may have known the person and not be aware they may have died.... Libby :)) |

Patrick - as it's too soon to be able to access the public registers, I'd say the only way is to get somone to check the local newspaper. OK it's not conclusive as there's not always a death notice in the paper, but it's worth a try. |
