Does anyone have a spare credit on familyrelatives or 1837 please? I'm trying to obtain the GRO ref for my grandfathers death and Quarter 2 is missing on Ancestry (typical!) Ernest Barker (born 26 Jan 1922) Died 1978 Quarter 2 Should be district of Stoke. Many Thanks Helen

Ernest reference is 30 1450 Stoke on Trent DOB 26 Jan 1922 Hope this helps

Helen, the quarter is not missing? if you click on any quarter then at the top it will say You are here: Search > England & Wales, Death Index: 1837-1983 > 1978 > Q2-Apr-May-Jun > B click on the year, e.g 1978 all the quarters are their, click on the quarter, then click on the first letter of the surname then put a page number as a start point in this case it is page 13 and search that way, this is a problem with ancestries search engine. Sorry I'm only just replying - I had to dash out. Thanks so much to you all that kindly looked me up the reference. I really appreciate it. Roy - Well you've learnt me something there. I honestly thought it was missing as it doesn't come up when you search the usual way. It takes longer to search that way but it's great to know that I can still look up a quarter when it appears to be 'missing' I feel awful now on the kind people that have used their credits on me.... Thanks again Helen
