I am searching for May Ann Harrison born c1880 married for definite 25th Dec 1901 to Charles Thomas Goodwin. Her father on the marriage certificate shows Charles Edward Harrison as her father (not showing as deceased, her FIL is showing as deceased) - unfortunately that is all I know about her and i can't even find her on 1881 or 1901 census. The address living at on marriage cert says Scipio St and she isn't showing there at all in 1901! She died in Kent approx 1976 but can't find her death either!!

Do you have her father´s occupation from the marriage certificate please

Fathers occupation is BUILDER and they married in North Peckham, LONDON

Oh how funny!! Even funnier is my mother's name is MARY but her birth cert says MAY!! ;o)

Both Charleses are 'house carpenters' in 1901. Not that far removed from 'builder'. There is a May in my partner's family tree whose birth certificate says Mary, and a Mary in my family tree who is May on the census, so I was half expecting your May Ann to be a Mary Ann! Kate.

Its all making sense now...... I think Mary Ann Harrisons mother is Jane DUDMAN!! As i have found the marriage between Charles and Jane :o) Thank you so much Kate and Gem - really appreciate your help..... and also thanks to all those that took the time to look for me!! xx
