No, the enhanced image viewer works fine for me. Anyway, this might be a useful tip for anybody who never uses ancestry's version of the FreeBMD database but always goes straight onto FreeBMD, especially as it will link to the image even for entries that don't have spectacles on FreeBMD. (Though of course in that case you may find that the entry doesn't really exist on that page!) Kate. |

hiya kate, it has been there a while, but nevertheless a good idea, sometimes we just dont see the wood for the trees LOL, btw are you having problems with the enhanced veiwer???? i cannot see the image at all in it, yet if i switch to basic, its there straight away, just miss all the gizmos, maybe i need to re-install it??? Is this new, or have I just been slow in picking it up? I have just done a marriage entry search on ancestry's FreeBMD database and it came up with the entry and a 'view image' option to click on to see the image of the page, rather like clicking on the pair of spectacles on FreeBMD (except you only have to click once and the image is clearer!)
