Hi Helen, Thank you for looking those up for me, i have been told may had a daughter but have no idea what her name is or when she was born, hubbys uncle seems to think she was older than Mays son ( mother in laws father) so i wonder if its worth looking for a birth for the easington area in 1904

Hi Karen, I know I'm not Merry (sorry) but I decided to look up the cause of death. I looked up each word but not sure if it helps - probably confuses matters! confinement - childbirth zymotic - contagious enteritis - inflammation of the bowels syncope - sudden death

Hi Had the death cert come through today for May Evans, ive been looking for her for ages, she died in 1904 in Easington County durham, couldnt understand why she was over that side of the country when she was in Pontypool in 1900, Thanks to Merry noticing a possible step sister for may in 1871 i followed it up by finidng out where the step sister had gone to, in 1901 shes living in country durham with her hubby and family. The address for May and Hugh for 1904 was sunderland row, shottton colliery, dont know why they were there as he was an actor. may died of confinement Zymotic Enteritis syncope whatever that is.
