A male relative died in Canada in about the mid 1920s. His body was brought home for burial. Thats all I know so far. Two points : We never were a wealthy family and bringing a body home must have been an expensive undertaking. (woops! a pun!) If he was in the military in Canada, would they usually ship a body home for burial? Second, would he need some sort of paperwork in order to be buried here? I am presuming that he was already shipped with a dearth cert. I am seeking his place of burial - and this advice would give me a good start. Many thanks all. TGx

as far as i know you need a death cert before a burial can take place, If he was British his death would be on the oversea section of 1837 online Roy
