I'm not having much luck following the online instructions for putting on a Trying to Find Message - I get directed to my tree with no option thereafter. Can anyone help? I've tried the Help/FAQs but there's literally nothing there! Thanks in anticiaption - Linda |

I think if I remember rightly you have to put the name in your tree first , do your message then delete the name |

To post on the Trying to find board the surname has to be in your tree. If it isn't then make a 'temporary' entry in your tree, place your post on trying to find, then delete the name from your tree. The trying to find post will remain, and the name will no longer be in your tree messing up possible relationships etc. Glen |

Thank you everyone - you responded to my plea so quickly - I've managed to put my message on. The person I'm looking for was on my tree but I still don't think the GR instructions are very clear or straightforward. Thanks again! |
