Good evening Margaret nice to hear from you , I had that Word never could get on with it so uninstalled it, hope you find a solution. Touch wood I think my PC is okay at the moment do hope so right palaver at PC World they are useless. Have a lovely day tomorrow you lucky thing. Its very nice of you but , this man was my husbands Father he married 4 or 5 times I know he was born in the January 1918 Fulham and am more or less certain he died within the last 5 years in either Fulham or Wandsworth , His name was Thomas Archer Gray The informants name is another wife one I had not heard of, so its likely she would not have known his real birth date as he was a born liar. But if you are bored thanks a lot, How is your own research going, any help I can give you only have to ask thanks. let me know how you get on tomorrow please Val |

sound feasable if the was 82 for it to be recorded as 92. could have been a older looking man than e was and the informant guessed to some extent. |

I know it is wierd, but death certs (well the ones I've got) for 1978, 1985 and 1987, don;t actually have the age on them, they just have the DOB. It is possible that when it has been copied up it was done wrongly. Do you have his birth cert to confirm the DOB? |

well he died in 2000 so he would have been 82 not 92 |

It's possible that it's the right one. Depends on how old he was when he died. If he was an older man, I suppose 10 years wouldn't be too much to add on or knock off an age, but if he was younger when he died, it might be more difficult. However the year could just be a mistranscription. Kath. x |

Looking for a Death Cert for someone born 27/1/1918 found one right area and First and last name (no middle one) birth date the 27/01/1908 would you say its too coincidental , as maybe the informant his New wife would not have known his birth date for sure. Thanks |
