is there a way to obtain a birth cert

If she was born 1827 then there is no way to get a birth cert as they didn't exist! You could find a baptism if you knew which parish she was born in. nell

Go to the home page and scroll down to Getting Started. Click on this. Then choose Civil Registration. At the end of this section is a bit about Irish bmds, which I think didn't start until 1855. nell

hi i wonder if anyone knows how i can obtain a birth cert if someone was born in ireland i have a 4xgreatgrandparent that i have not long ago discovered but to know who her parents were i need her birth cert to further my research any help on this matter much appreciated thankyou kerry ann
