A great aunt of mine allowed me to photograph a memorial plaque that her family were given when her father was lost at sea on the HM Tug St Genny on 12 Jan 1930, which sank in a gale just off Ushant on its way to Gibralter. Only 5 men were rescued by another nearby tug, also damaged by the storm. The rest were lost, as was St Genny. I thought I would post the info on here, just in case anyone else had an ancestor related to this incident. Unfortunately, I only used a mobile phone camera to snap it so some of the names have come out a little blurred. 'To the glory of God and to the imperishable memory of the crew of H.M.
