I've been searching for the birth record of Emily Maud Purdue who was born (according to death record) on 26th June 1914, and also her brother who apparently was younger than her, but I can't seem to find him either, his name was Jack Edward Purdue. They should both have been born in the Swindon area, and their mothers maiden name was Hill. Can anyone else see them?

Have you checked the full bmd records on Ancestry? They are free............you merely have to register with the site. Reg
