Birmingham Library has a family history section which has burial records for the vast majority of the Birmingham cemeteries on microfilm. I have searched them myself and it is a bit tedious, but once you have the reference number off them then you can approach the releveant cemetery who should be able to pinpoint the location of the grave. I would try e-mailing them to see if they can do a search on your behalf, and how much it will cost. Helen |

I've found a lot of burials here: https://www.familyhistoryonline.net It's pay-per-view, but it only costs a few pence to view each record, and the site also has some parish records. |

you could try this for starters - http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/GenerateContent?CONTENT_ITEM_ID=36259&CONTENT_ITEM_TYPE=0&MENU_ID=12915&EXPAND=483 click on the genealogy survey link in the middle of the text & it should bring up a search box you can leave the date box blank Sorry, have just realised its only for recent deaths They do have a research facility though you have to pay. |

Hi Thought I would try and find out where some of my ancestors may be buried, but not sure of the best way to find out. So many graveyards etc in Birmingham. I wanted to start off with my gt gt gran who died in the BirminghamWorkhouse in 1906. I have her death cert, but no clues there. Have tried the chruches I believe are local to the area she lived. Where is the best place to start? Mandy X |

Nudged as something strange is happening on the boards. Threads are going down instead of up! Helen but that didn't work either as the original thread date seems to have changed. |

Mandy Birmingham Central Library should also have the workhouse records which might say where she was buried. Georgina. |
