only have a sec (i'm at work) - ontario is a province, similar to essex, i would think. i can check - i know some towns in ontario. |

oh sorry I wasnt thinking about how big it is, I am trying to trace a relative who went there about 1950 to work as a Dental mechanic any ideas thanks |

i just googled salmon street ontario, and first up is a link for a map of ontario if you go down the list you`ll see on for map of alpha envirmontal service inc 9150 sw salmon street click on that i think thats the one you want hope it helps kaz |

Hi Val The Salmon St, Ontario map on google is in California. Are you sure he went to Canada and not America? Jackie p.s also Salmon St in Portland but that is in America too |

ooh forgive me I am in a muddle tonight I thought the one I looked at was Canada , maybe I had better sleep on it , dont want to waste peoples time.We were told he went to Canada about 1945-1950ish he was a Dental Mechanic but went there to set up a Clinic I suppose the lady that gave us this info could have been mistaken thanks for your input. |

Val Any chance someone there has even an inkling of what city/town he went to. Ontario is an extremely large province in terms of land mass with majority of our population being in the southern half. If you can find anything further, will see what I can find over here for you. Without a city will be hard to pin point Salmon Street, however, there is a town in northern Ontario called Salmon Point.
