I'm currently using the pay-per-view option because it allows me to access all records (mine in the UK and hubby's in US). Now while my pay-per-view is still current, I have the incentives to upgrade, they state £5.74 for the Monthly UK Deluxe membership (which I'm considering as I use the UK records far more than the US ones). My question is, is it just £5.74 for the first month as an incentive to sign up and then it reverts to the normal £9.99 charge or is it £5.74 every month? Anyone know? Also if I do upgrade to the UK Deluxe monthly membership and can only access UK records, what happens when I have a query for my husband's chart that I want to look up because I'm still researching his side. I'm thinking I can't buy the pay-per-view credits again to see the US records because I'll be registered as a UK subscriber, if that makes any sense? But I don't want to have to pay for the World Deluxe, when I only have, say a dozen US records I want to look up. Any help with either of these queries would be most appreciated. Emma

I don't know about the initial transfer from PPV, but, I have UK membership, and have had the need to look at a few US images, I have used a PPV scheeme for that, 10 images for £4.95 with a 14day time period. It has served my purpose perfectly. Suex

Thanks Sue So you've been able to buy pay-per-views credits, while still being on a UK subscription? Emma

Yes Emma, When doing a search and record that is the US section came up, you can't see much info other than name. I clicked on 'View image' and it gave me the oppertunity to upgrade, either with lots of money or the PPV. I paid the money and instantly had access to the lot, an added bonus is during the 14 day period I can also see extra info that doesn't cost. Suex

Hi Emma - I've upgraded from the pay-per-view (PPV) to the monthly membership, and I believe that the £5.74 price is offered for the first month to give you some credit for your remaining PPV time. Although the price was supposed to be £9.95 per month thereafter, it seems to me that I was only charged £8.74 or thereabouts, possibly because we don't have to pay the VAT (I'm in Canada). In any event, it's still a very good deal. Just keep in mind that they will renew your membership automatically every month, unless you specifically ask them to cancel it (see Terms and Conditions).
