Old family photos from Canterbury on ebay

There is an item on ebay at the moment listed under the title 'wood filing cabinet full of old black & white photos'. Apparently it contains around 100 photos taken in Canterbury and of people working in the hop fields, dated from the 20s to the 60s or earlier. If your family are from the area it might be worth emailing to find out which surnames are on the photos? You never know...

People from London would go down to work in the hop fields of Kent as a 'holiday' so those photos are unlikely to be of locals unfortunately. Still, wouldn't it be good to see some of them? I have just ordered another item from eBay, a CD Rom with 500 old photos of London & surrounding towns. Can't wait for it to arrive! Carole
