Hi On Thursday I ordered two certs to be despatched the following day for £23 each as a Priority, so that is £46 in all. I expected them to be here this morning at the latest. I have just got in and they havent arrived yet. I am surprised as Priority certs only take 2 or 3 days and I feel I have wasted £46 when, at non busy times it takes only up to 4 days for the GRO to dispatch standard £7 certs but as the GRO are busy they are taking 10 to 11 days. Anyone else had any similar things happen with Priority Certs? Ben |

Hi Benjamin, I have JUST discovered LOCAL Register Offices. - I had to do it by sending a cheque through the post BUT I have received certs twice within 48 hours and DIDN'T have to pay extra for them to check parents !!!!!!!!!! I will NOT use the GRO in future. Dea x |

If my certs dont arrived tomorrow I shall email the GRO and ask them whats up and they might be able to tell me the problem as they should of been here by today in I ordered them as a Priority on Thursday otherwise it wil seem like I am wasting the extra money I pay to have them delivered quickly. See how impatient we are with waiting for these certs. Then opening them is like opening your exam results as the certs could either leave you with more questions or more answers Ben |

Bev If they say they won't be sending them out until 20th June you can hardly expect to receive them earlier! nell |

I'm just waiting for my first certificates and I'm with Bev. I think whatever date you're given for anything to arrive we all live in hope that they'll get here sooner. |

Just remember the date they give is the estimated DESPATCH date, not the date that the cerst should be arriving on your doormat. ALways add at least 4 days extra on, and then if they arrice early you'll be happy, Benjamin, if you ordered on Thursday, then the order will be processed the next working day, and should be posted on that day too. If you ordered late in the evening, that means that the 'day of order' will be Friday, so they should be with you tmorrow. |

I've never done a priority order, but don't they tell you a dispatch date with those, as they do with the ordinary ones? Merry |
