Reading surnames on certificates

I haven't had this problem myself, but I believe that you can get in touch with the office where you bought the certificate and ask them either to clarify the name or let you have a better copy. |

I'm trying to work out my Gt Nan's Mothers maiden name but its not very clear on the certificate. I've scanned it to my computer, is there any software i can use to try and make her name out? |
