If you export do the photos go too ??

I want to export from one Family Tree programme to another will the photos go too ??? or do I have to add them again thanks

If you are transferring via a GEDCOM file, then the pictures will not be transferred as the .GED file is simply text and not binary. If you are lucky, your new program(me) will be able to open the binary data file created by your current application (For Family Tree Maker, this would be the .FTW file), and then your pictures may well be available. Pretty vague I'm afraid, but if you say which application you are moving from and to, I could be more specific. George
