To get the tree that you have already downloaded from GR into Family Tree Maker should be easy as it is a GEDCOM file. I think you just have to right-click on the file that you downloaded, select 'open with....' and choose Family Tree Maker, and it will then convert it into an FTM file. But as for what has happened to your tree on GR, that is puzzling. I take it you haven't deleted it? If it has really been messed up then you should be able to upload the same file that you downloaded, but it might be worth contacting GR support first to ask if they can tell you what has happened to your tree. Kate.

have managed to get my tree from here onto my tribal pages, took me all yesterday to work out how to do it, can someone tell me how to now transfer it onto my ftmaker. also, do I need to re-import it back onto genes, as Ive noticed not all of my tree is on here anymore. plus, says I have 365 names in my tree, but when I look on tree viewer to see where Ive gone wrong, its only showing 4 names. I am computer idiot, so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks jean
