Hi Hazel You are not alone with this,,,i too have done a similar thing,,its a right pain' but better to put it right in the early stages,, Good luck and Happy searching,, PS,,,Hope you are ready to say goodbye to all other hobbies,,lol Kate :)

Hi HW I think I know what you're getting at, I've done the same thing before. You'll need to make sure she has no connections to her ie parents, siblings or children before she can be removed. If that makes sense. Gypsyjoe

Hi Hazel, you have to first remove any children you have given them. You cannot remove parents and leave children alone. Then remove mother/spouse,put in correct info and replace children. Hope this makes sense. Sylvia.

Being new to this site since 07-06-2006, I have just started to build my tree. I seem to have doubled up on spouses and or mother in particular, and when I try to remove I am told can't be done as it will break a link. Anyone out there know how I can put this right before I continue to add links thus making it even more difficult. I've tried using the FAQs but I need the human touch as I do not seem to have found the way to correct my mistakes? I would be extremely grateful fo any help? HW
