Hi, am I right in thinking that if there is an 'a' on a reference there has been a change to the original details on the certificate ?

Hi Daphne, I have a Mary A Blogg born abt 1817 from Foulsham who married a Richard Rix in 1842. Mary's father is William on the wedding cert. I was wondering as the surname is the same and they are both from Foulsham if there was any connection? Regards Steve

Henry is transcribed on FreeBMD as 510a. I've submitted a correction so it'll be right in about 3 weeks or so.

I'd say one of the references is wrong. I'm just looking at the images :) Henry is also on 610a.

I have an Elizabeth Dodman from Twyford? Norfolk.She is in Twyford as a F. servant with her sister Ann in the 1841 census. She married Henry Palmer from Foulsham [ myGt. . Gt. Grandfather]in 1845.Well banns I have seen in both parishes. Banns 19/10/45. 26/10/45/. 02/11/1845. But can find no marriages in Twyford.Most of their records are missing. I have a Elizabeth Dodman marriage Dec Q 1845 Mitford 13 .610a But Henry Palmer 13 .510a.If I send for the Elizabeth one and put in Henry Palmer ,do you think they will find the right one?. With a marriage should get a father? They had a son John who died aged 2 yrs Elizabeth also died in 1848.Have certs.Then he married another Elizabeth [Blogg] my Gt.Gt. grandmother. Henry and Elizabeth Dodman were witnesses at Henry’s sister Elizabeth wedding to Daniel Prior in Foulsham same year, banns read at the same time. Another one got any with connections with Priors of Foulsham? They go back a long way. Daphne
