so its my birthday soon and SO has said that Genealogy software is okay for a present. Anyway, what really is the difference between FTM 2006 and FTM 2005? Also, should I go for FTM 2006 or the latest 'Family Historian'? |

Most people on here use FTM but I use Family Historian and love it. I think you get used to whichever you choose - there's some differences but I don't think they are huge. I think there's a site which compares the different progs. You could try googling Anne |

If 2005 does a web search then its the same as 2006 ;; but I have found the charting companion good but then how many trees do you want to print out;; FTM 2006 does a web search linking with Ancestry does 2005 and the other ones you can buy;; Babs |
