I have found the marriage I want using Familysearch.org. and I need to order a certificate The source info at the bottom of the page is different to that used on the Ancestry site, so how do I order a marriage certificate.???? Kathlyn |

If you have found the date on familysearch, look for it on ancestry - you will then have the GRO ref needed to order certificates. (I'm assuming marriage was after 1837) |

Hi Mary, The marriage was between Thomas Whitbread (1786) and Ann Woodland (1790) They were married on 21st April 1819 in Aspley Guise, Bedfordshire. Kathlyn |

Civil registration didn't start until 1837 so there won't be a certificate as such. The best you can hope for is a copy of the parish record, which should be at the appropriate county records office for the area in question. Kath. x |
