I have found an exact match with another member and wisk to add the extra information from his tree. Is it posible to link both trees on this site or do I have to extract the information from the members tree and move it over into my tree?

There used to be a 'linking' facility, but GR discontinued it........... Reg

Quite rightly in my opinion because some people were copying over living people. Besides, shouldn't you check the other persons research is correct? Everyone makes mistakes you know.

You would have to let the other person have your email addy and ask them to send you a Gedcom file which you should be able to import into your Family History programme and link it there. You can then, if you wish, re-import your upgraded Tree to GR.
