I've just come across the following website, which has approx. 40,000 miscellaneous baptisms, marriages and burials for assorted parishes in Kent: http://www.rootsweb(.)com/~engken/bmd.html Hope you may be lucky and find some of yours! Penny

A potentially useful resource. Don't expect mine to be there - and can't find any of the names for my friend's tree which I've done a bit of work on, but it's still a useful tip, thanks People will need to be aware that it doesn't look as if there will be anything more than what's there now. The flashing info on the first page says it was last updated 16 August 1999. Christine

If you have ancestors from the Chatham area then go this site: http://cityark.medway.gov.uk They have scanned copies of parish records from all the parishes in the Medway district - my rellies moved done there from Co Durham and lo and behold several more children were baptised in St Mary's Chatham. Give it a go! Jan
