Our daughter is called Laura but for someunkown reason my Dad always called her looby loo and it stuck but since Grand dad died she only allows us her parents to call her this . Gwen I think the marriage you are looking for is Jun 1865 Jennings Elizabeth Hay 11b 261 John Garret Hay 11b 261 I think you will just find that the Garret has been misspelt on the marriage reference and the registration district for Dorstone, where Elizabeth was born, is HAY It all adds up !!

It is Garrett with two T Gwen

I checked the 11b 261 Hay this morning but could not match it with John Garrett gwen

I am trying to find the marriage of John Garrett born abt 1838 in Peterchurch Hereford. I know he married an Elizabeth Jennings who was born abt 1842 Dorstone Hereford. I have found them on the census with their family. The eldest children twins were born abt 1869 but so far I have not been able to locate a marriage for them. I have looked through the marriage index from1860 through to 1869 and cannot find them. As birth cert arrived this morning for John' son showing the maiden name I looked on the census for Elizabeth and found her on the census in 1851 and then 1861 still Jennings working in Cheltenham as a servant she is on the next cenus 1871 as Garrett. Any ideas Gwen
