Thomas Dines (1883 St Pancras) served with the 4th Bn Middlesex. I have him enlisted, but in London in 1901 - in a military hospital. He apears to have left the army, moved to Buxton and married in 1910. I have a medal card for him in WW1 back with the 4th Midllesex (Regiment No 46202) enlisting 14.8.14. He was promoted to Corporal and has entries for Victory, British, Star and 'clasp and Roses issued 20.1.20' Does anyone know where/how I can trace what he got up to in the army please?

You can read the regimental diaries at Kew. You can google the regiment and see if it has a website/museum site with information. You can get his army record if it survives. nell
