Hi my husbands great grandad got a medal in 1935 it is an RAOB Grand Council medal. We have been given the medal but nothing is known about it. Does anyone here know anything about it or where i could look. Many thanks Jennie |

From googling: Derived from the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB). Buffalo and Free Masons Lodge Medals 1. R.A.O.B. gilt metal medal with red, white and blue enamel, Overseas Buffaloes Association, with red, white and blue ribbon (perished), gilt metal suspender and buffalo horns top suspender, VGC. $ 10.00 2. R.A.O.B. gilt metal medal, buffalo head within blue enamel belt circle with motto, buffalo horns ribbon suspender, top bar has Ndola Lodge No.6603 (Ndola was in Northern Rhodesia), light green ribbon with white stripe on each side and yellow woven RAOB and GLE, VGC. $ 20.00 3. R.A.O.B. SILVER medal with blue enamel GSB and red, white and blue RAOB intertwined on obverse; reverse has Wiener Lodge, Presented to Bro.C.A. Walters for Attendance June 8 1909; with buffalo horns ribbon suspender, no ribbon, VGC. $ 20.00 |
