That is a bad one,it looks like 7b 762. Might be worth a shot on the county BMD site,but i haven't had to try for that area. Glen

Glen Thanks for the advice. Jun 1856 Cree Emma Rotherham Hope someone can read it. If I was at home I would try and enhance the image in my photo editing programme but I'm at work. Thanks in advance if anyone can help. Lynne

I have found a birth on Ancestry but the image is very smudged. I can read the name and area but not the numbers. Can anyone advise what I need to do. Will I have to contact the GRO for help? Thanks in advance. Lynne
