Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 31 Send Message	Thanks, I've now found it! The name in the 'Inbox' and 'Sent messages' is not the same as the one in 'Your contacts'. How confusing or is this just a ploy to get you used to thinking in terms of 'Okay, I need to find the maiden name of this person before I can go back any further' BTW, sorting the 'Your contacts' by date didn't help, as the date is displayed as the date of the first contact.

Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	There is an odd quirk of Gene's that gives the contact name as the first name in the tree. For a woman this is normally her maiden name though some people are researching one of their parents or their partners. The name in the message box is the screen name. Sorting the contacts by date order sometimes helps.

Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 31 Send Message	Hi all. Is anyone able to tell me what criteria is used to put people into 'Your contacts'? There are some people that are in my 'Inbox' and in 'Sent messages' but not in 'Your contacts'. Is this just affecting me, or is this a 'feature' of the system? George
