On the 1881 Census, Joesph Fry, born 1812. I cannot read what it says for where born. I also cannot find his parents because he changes his mind on where he is from, one census its sancreed, another it is guernsey and this one looks like it begins with a W, but anyway can anyone make that place of birth out please? |

Hi Shirley - I don't know where Elizabeth + Sticky fingers are looking but it's quite clear on mine - 'unknown' - Glad I'm not the only one who can see it. Dea x Where do they get the W from??? |

sorry he was living cornwall most of his life, but supposedly born in guernsey, And looking at it now, it is unknown lol....well dang i dont know what to do now to find his parents lol |

This is the only one I can see in 1881: Joseph Fry abt 1812 Head Madron - Penzance Cornwall The birthplace says unknown on the census page............. Merry |

hiya sticky, i found this, but how relavant it will be i dont know, but it could help 1841 cen View Record Elizabeth Fry abt 1841 Cornwall, England Breage Cornwall View Record Joseph Fry abt 1816 Cornwall, England Breage Cornwall View Record Mary Fry abt 1821 Cornwall, England Breage Cornwall View Record Mary Fry abt 1839 Cornwall, England Breage Cornwall breage isnt far from helston, which is about 25 miles from madron/penzance cheers Julie |
