Have I read somewhere that you can tell which area it is by the volume number? I have an entry that I have found for N Forest 2b 2215. Anyone help please?

2b is down south somewhere on the outskirts of London, I think. 2a definitely includes Surrey and some of Kent so somewhere nearby. I'll take a look. List of registration districts here, add it to your favourites, you won't regret it. www.fhsc.org.uk/genuki/reg/

N Forest, is New Forest in Hampshire (though it covers part of Wiltshire too.) Look at this: http://www.fhsc.org.uk/genuki/reg/index.htm Merry
